ACV Smartline Multienergy SLME300 Indirect Stainless Steel Unvented Cylinder including Thermostatic Mixing Valve and Mains Kit.

Designed for a range of applications and multiple choice of energy sources.

Product Description

ACV Smartline Multienergy SLME300 Indirect Stainless Steel Unvented Cylinder including Thermostatic Mixing Valve and Mains Kit.

Multi-Energy Tank with the advantages of Tank-in-Tank technology and the
added benefit of a carbon steel coil located at the bottom in the primary water.
The large heating surface area and increased primary volume of the SLME tanks, not
only increase recovery time, but also ensures all energy from your renewable source
is absorbed into the tank, reducing fuel bills and ultimately helping the environment.

Due to the unique design of the Multi-Energy tank and the large primary thermal store, it is the perfect partner for Solar, Heat Pumps, Pellet Burners, Heat Recovery Systems, District Heating Applications and more.

Tank-in-Tank Technology
ACV’s advanced implementation of thermal storage technology is tried and tested and is remarkably simple, efficient and reliable. An inner stainless steel hot water cylinder is heated by primary water circulating through a surrounding outer tank connected to the boiler or other heat source in the usual way. A larger heat transfer surface means that Tank-in-Tank units recover much faster than any other kind of hot water storage device - and keeps boiler cycling to a minimum.

Advantages Over Twin Coil Tank
* Increased heating surface for rapid domestic hot water recovery
* Large primary volume allows for greater thermal store
* Can be used as a low loss header for heating circuit
* Smaller compact tank with increased performance
* Immersion heater in primary circuit
* More heat sources absorbed into the tank
* Flexible design options for specifiers and installer.

Resistance to Scaling
The special design of the inner cylinder not only helps ensure scale-free operation but also avoids the sediment problems that plague conventional cylinders.
