The Horizontal external expansion vessel stainless steel unvented cylinder has the expansion vessel fitted on the pipe work by the cylinder which takes up a bit more space. The horizontal cylinder is great for fitting into loft or attic space where height restrictions can be a problem. They still give you the same megaflow performance of high pressure hot water when used in conjunction with a heat source and attached to the mains pressure cold water. They can be either heated indirectly by a boiler or direct with the immersion heaters fitted in the cylinder. They are available in the Thermsaver external and acv smartline, they are not suitable for use with solar.
All horizontal unvented cylinders are made to order and delivery is approximately 7-20days
