The Direct External expansion vessel stainless steel unvented cylinder has the pressure expansion vessel fitted on the pipe work by the cylinder which takes up a bit more space. The direct unvented cylinder is heated from two immersion heaters fitted directly into the cylinder producing the hot water, the direct is available in the Thermsaver vertical, horizontal and solar single coil.
