A condensing boiler is a development of the traditional domestic water-heating boiler which offers increased efficieny. Conventional boilers lose a substantial amount of heat with the products of combustion, however a condensing boiler incorporates an extra heat exchanger so that the hot exhaust gases give up much of their energy to pre-heat the water in the boiler system.
On all standard boilers the flue gases that go up the chimney have quite a high temperature (200°C / 260°C) and are made up of various types of gases. The Thermsaver condensing oil boiler is designed so that these flue gases pass through a stainless steel heat exchanger connected to the boiler. These flue gases transfer heat to the water contained in the secondary heat exchanger.
This superb performance and efficiency however does mean that Thermsaver condensing oil boilers are NOT SUITABLE FOR 35 SECOND OIL, (DIESEL).
all thermsaver condensing oil boilers are SEDBUK A rated
Currently available 12 indoor and outdoor models, including combi models, with outputs ranging from 15kW to 38kW.
Designed to be aesthetically pleasing, the Thermsaver range blends unobtrusively in modern and traditional kitchens. Totally room-sealed, the boiler can be positioned to line up with most kitchen door fronts, with the flue adjustable to suit. The front door is hinged allowing easy access to the burner, controls and the heat exchanger, allowing servicing to be carried out both quickly and thoroughly.
This makes the Thermsaver oil boiler the ideal choice for new properties or as a replacement for older, less efficient boilers.
