The elegant, yet fully featured, ThermSave Celect LCD-RF-3 wireless programmable room thermostat, with it's large LCD screen, extensive temperature adjustment and programming facilities, allows adaptability to meet a wide range of users' needs.
Unlike an ordinary single unit design room thermostat the ThermSave Celect LCD-RF-3 separates the thermostat into two units: a receiver and a control centre.
- The receiver has the wiring connections and the heat/cool on/off control and, ideally, is located beside the heating system.
- The LCD control centre is the user interface and also the temperature sensing/control unit which communicates by radio signals to the receiver.
The wireless capability of the ThermSave Celect LCD-RF-3 allows you to place your programmable room thermostat where you want, when you want, without disturbing your décor.
Using a programmable thermostat provides boiler interlock and eliminates dry cycling of a boiler. Check the current building regulations regarding heating controls for further details.
And the good news is that you can save money on your fuel bills as well.
Where a simple room thermostat is designed to hold the same temperature while the heating is on, a programmable thermostat adjusts to various temperatures throughout the day. This allows you, the user, control over times, temperatures and costs.
Have a comfortable temperature first thing in the morning, set it cooler, (or off), through the day, in the evening adjust to the desired temperature and a lower setting or frost protection can be selected overnight.
