"Just a quick note to say thanks for your excellent service. I ordered a Honeywell CM67 from you last Saturday by telephone and it was with me first thing on Tuesday morning. I've installed it and it works a treat. .......

....the walls are "substantial" and running wiring through them is a real pain. The chap who did the conversion put the original thermostat in the dining room, which is at mid level between the upstairs and downstairs, has a vaulted ceiling and has the kitchen and utility room at one end. As a result heat from cooking and the boiler keeps it warm, plus heat rises into it from the lounge below. It is always warm, whereas the lounge is still cold as it is lower. Obviously he didn't quite understand the principle of heat rising and not to put a thermostat in the same, (albeit very big), room as the cooker!

....The CM67 is now on the wall of the living room and as we have TRVs all round, the dining room does not overheat as the valves just shut of the flow, but the living room is nice and cosy for the first time. The RF technology seems to work fine even though it has to go through a couple of thick walls, one of which is nearly 2 feet thick and about 140 years old......."
