The wireless programmable LCD digital room thermostats are designed to be used with electric, oil and gas heating systems. The programmable room thermostats are a very effective way of controlling your house/room temperature. With the receiver being wired to boiler, the thermostat can be in any room or area up to 100M away without the need for wiring back to the receiver. This is the ideal thermostat to use in situations where it is not practical or acceptable to run cables between the room thermostat and the boiler/system.
The programmable room thermostat uses time and temperature (highs and lows) instead of on and offs to control the temperature providing a very effective control of your heating thus saving you money on your fuel bill. It works by using temperature at a set time say 19degC at 8:00am so your heating will come if it is below that and when it reaches that 19degC it will switch it off until the room cools to below that, then it will come back on. These thermostats are battery operated and the receiver has 24-240v or volt free contacts for use with ANY condensing or combi boiler.
