It works by using temperature at a set time say 19degC at 8:00am so your heating will come if it is below that and when it reaches that 19degC it will switch it off until the room cools to below that, then it will come back on, this thermostat is battery operated and the receiver has 24-240v or volt free contacts for use with ANY condensing or combi boiler.
