The standard electric boiler (heat only) is suitable in the replacement market of traditional open vented heating system were they don't want the upheaval of having to remove storage tanks form loft and pressurise older pipework. they are compact in size due to the fact they don't have an expansion vessel or a central heating pump in them and still have all the performance and efficiencies as the system boiler.
