Thermsaver was established by Graham Curtis in 1985 primarily to promote controls and energy conservation. Over the last 25 years the company has developed as a major distributor to the plumbing, heating and ventilation industry from their base in Central Scotland. In the last 12 months the company have moved to a large unit in Righead Industrial Estate, Bellshill and, most importantly the business has adapted to new technologies.
In January 2010 Thermsaver were appointed the Scottish Regional distributors for Delonghi Heat Pumps providing full support from design, installation and service throughout Scotland. The purpose built training and visitor centre is within the Bellshill unit with heat pumps, underfloor heating, controls, buffer and hot water vessels and a heat recovery ventilation system installed and operational. As the largest European manufactures of heat pumps and refrigeration equipment, and a range from 6kw to 800kw the Delonghi – Climaveneta range is MCS accredited.
Thermsaver also distribute plumbing, heating and ventilation products throughout the UK from their distribution depot based in central Scotland, generally aiming to deliver nationwide within 3-4 days. All heating controls are delivered out next day by a parcel delivery company if ordered before 3pm.
With over 20 years experience in underfloor heating and heat recovery ventilation systems, Thermsaver also provide full system design and support for self build and renovation projects from extensions to castles! Qualified engineers can discuss options of integrating standard existing technology with new renewable options and can support the project from design through to installation.
To strengthen our team David Black and Alan Hall have joined the company. David has over 25years in the plumbing and heating merchant industry and Alan has joined us from Delonghi.

Underfloor Heating Systems
With over 20 years experience in the underfloor heating market we can offer a proposal to suit either a new build or renovation project and incorporate any floor construction. Using industry standard proven products and pipe, we provide a full pipe work and electrical design service for underfloor heat systems, including full time and temperature controls.
Heat Recovery Ventilation Systems
With modern building regulations requiring high levels of insulation, heat recovery ventilation provides a clean, fresh environment extracting from all the wet rooms and introducing fresh pre-warmed air into living and bedroom areas. We can provide a full design layout and quotation based on a set of drawings.
Thermsaver, Telford & ACV Stainless Steel Unvented Cylinders
A full range of mains pressure unvented cylinders with both internal and external pressure vessels and complete with all thermostats and safety devices. The range includes direct, indirect, solar and horizontal models. We can also manufacture special units with additional sizes available.
Thermaflow, ACV Oso and Fusion Electric Boilers
A complete range of standard, system and combination electric boilers from 6kw to 50kw with advice on electric tariffs available, including a combination boiler that will produce 30ltrs of hot water per minute at mains pressure.
Pipe Plus - Hot & Cold Water Pipe System
A plastic composite pipe with integral oxygen diffusion barrier suitable for sanitary, hot water, vented and sealed central heating systems with a 30 year manufacturers warranty.
Heat Pumps
Our range of DeLonghi Heat Pumps, our twenty five years experience and our full range of ancillary services mean that Thermsaver are able to provide a complete Air Source Heat Pump or Ground Source Heat Pump package. This package can range from the supply of just the Heat Pump to the complete Heat Pump installation in conjunction with our Installer/Partner network. This applies to both residential and commercial applications.

A permanently installed vacuum system with a central suction unit and vacuum sockets throughout the home. Simply plug in the vacuum hose to the wall socket and vacuum away!
Thermsave Heating Controls
With energy costs at a premium and comfort an important feature, we provide a comprehensive range of time and temperature control equipment for domestic and small commercial applications. These control products can be supplied for either new build or utilised to upgrade heating systems and ensure compliance to Building Regulations.
Thermsaver and Grandee Oil Boilers
With both SEDBUK A high efficiency and SEDBUK C standard efficiency oil boilers up to 50kw, this product range comes complete with all flue options. It covers Thermsaver boiler house, kitchen white cased, outdoor, and combination boilers. Wall mounted and system boilers are manufactured by Grandee.
Harlequin Oil Tanks
We stock a range of both single skin and bunded oil tanks complete with the fixing kit and remote Apollo oil monitor. Sizes available are up to 10,000ltrs.
